Sequential Royal Odds
There is this .50 triple play game I play sometimes. The game is Super Aces but there is also a 50,000 credit for a sequential royal. So I always dream about getting dealt a sequential Royal for $75,000 but I wonder the odds. Not only for having one dealt but for modifying your play to run one down (which is tough for some reason... looking for the right spots with the right cards).
There is also another game I think its like Super Double Bonus Delux or something like that and its kind of fun to play. It pays 2,000 for 4 adjacent Aces and 800 for four adjacent 2,3 or 4's. Kicker doesn't matter and the game is 10/6. I'd say thats has to be a nice payback?

I would think that 50,000 credits at half dollars would be $25,000 rather than $75,000, but still a nice haul for a $2.50 bet.The odds of a dealt sequential royal flush are independent of the pay schedule and are 77,968,799 to 1 IF the jackpot is paid for only one of either AKQJT or TJQKA. If the jackpot pays for either sequence, backwards or forwards, the odds are cut in half to 38,984,399 to 1. With payoffs in either direction, if you were to play 600 hands per hour, 40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year, you would average over 32 years between dealt sequential royals, so don't hold your breath. The exact odds of a sequential royal flush, including those drawn to, are of course somewhat dependent on the strategy employed. For an 8/5 pay schedule with a SF paying 60 per coin, the odds are 3,701,073 to 1 if the jackpot pays only one way, either forwards or backwards, and 1,850,536 to 1 if either way yields the 50,000 credits. At http://www.videopokerhelp.net/DB-Misc.htm, there is a game called Double Bonus Plus which pays off as you suggested for touching quads in the ranks of A, 2, 3, or 4. The 10/6 pay schedule is advertised there as a 99.76% EV. This is not to be confused with another Double Bonus Plus game that pays 2 per coin for both trips and hands with two pair.

I had a dealt sequential RF around 4 years ago at Tuscany. Got nothing extra for it.
I've played some over the years at Circus Circus where they have a progessive for both regular and sequential RFs in their Aces and Eight's VP. Since the game starts off at 99.8% return this can be a good play. Although I only have about 20K hands total at this game I was once dealt TJQK of spades in the right spots. The progressive was over 35K on a quarter machine. Just getting this chance is extremely rare. Alas, the lousy ace was nowhere to be found.

There used to be a row of vp machines-cant remember if it was DDB?_at the Taj that had a progressive for a sequential royal-and it had to be the suit that was designated to your machine. I was getting change at one of the bill breakers and I hear those bells ringing by that bank of machines so i walked over to see what she held to get it and I saw she had it dealt to her! Those odds must be even higher when it has to be a specific

It was triple play thats how I came up with the 75k. Getting dealt that Sequential Royal is the dream. Although I don't play it much because the pay table is b.a.d. at 7/5. You do bring up a interesting point though. It doesn't say forward or backward. It just says Sequential Royal 50,000.
I do know many years ago a lady won a court settlement against a casino were she got a sequential Royal but backwards. The casino did not pay on the sq ryl but she won in court as the machine never said forward or backwards.
I wonder what does progressives get up to before they hit, if anyone who visits those casinos can answer that. And at what rate do they incriment.
