  I hit this today at Hollywood Casino in Aurora, IL. I also hit quad deuces twice on a .25 denomination machine too, kinda made for a nice day.

Great hit Ted...I've never been dealt a royal once, not even on a single line machine. But, I hate to say, you would never see me sitting in front of a machine with that pay table even if I were waiting for my wife to come out of the bathroom.

Congratulations, great hit!   Pay table doesn't much matter when you get a pay off like that one.

  Thanks for the cheers gang. This was, in all my years of playing, my first dealt royal. As for the paytable I know it wasn't the best but I was playing that game because a lady playing the machine next to me said the machine I was sitting down at was broken. I said "oh, really" and she said nobody could get the games to change so I pressed the screen and got 5 play deuces wild. I put a hundred in and as you can see I still had $70.00 left of the original hundred before I hit the royal. About 5 minutes before hitting this I was dealt a wild royal so I stayed at this machine.
 
  Damule the paytables at most Illinois casinos are bad now. I recently started playing more video poker again after getting hooked on video slots for a while and today I was glad I still sat down at that machine. Even at the .25 level Hollywood has lowered the payoff for a wild royal to 20-1. They used to be at 25-1.
