Venetian Video Poker Tournament
Hi to all. I just received ( via e-mail ) an invitation from the Venetian to play in their "$25,000 Speed of Light Video Poker Tournament" to be held on August 11 & 12.
My wife & I were already going to be in Las Vegas during this time & so this will be my first VP Tournament. Also, you do not have to stay at their property to get in the tournament.
Has anyone else received this? If so, I hope to see you in August. I play very little video poker at the Venetian, but I guess I got this invitation because I do belong to their player's club ( Club Grazie ).
Thanks, James

I have played in a couple. Go for the gusto or it will be a waste(that means holding those 2,3,4 when you have two pair and tossing the other pair or any 2+ to the Royal) All or nothing!! Good Luck

jlb9674...boy I am cheesed...I got slot tournament offers like 3X a week, and I don't play slots (ok, video poker). I wonder why they didn't invite me when, from my Club Grazie card play, know I only play video poker??? Maybe cuz I kicked azzz last time???? I think I have to make a call. Ok, for all of you that have done a VP contest...strategies??? This is a question I am sure jlb9674 has as well. I know conservative play is out the door.
