What to hold........
Playing Deuces Wild, 100 Hand, the deal was 4 to a Royal, with a Deuce. Holding everything, 12,500 points. After a while, I began to think I should have dumped the Deuce, & take my chances going for a Full Royal. Thoughts?

Since you were playing 100 hand I think I would have done the same thing you did. The most I have (Im sure others have had different results) when I receive 4 to a Royal on 100 hand is 3 Royals which is 12,000. So I know I would have done the same on Dueces Wild. Would sure like to hear what others have to say though. Regardless, Great Hand!

Assuming normal pay table, not progressive, say FPDW, you NEVER discard a deuce. And, the multi-play has no bearing. You made the correct play by a good margin.

There are a few times where you might toss the deuce. That's when you are playing a progressive and the RF jackpot gets high enough. I think that is over 5200 credits however (it's different for ace high and king high). I've done this a few times on triple play and NEVER hit the RF.

Shadow,
I've never seen a 100 play with a progressive for other than the RF on all 100 hands. Since it would be virtually impossible to pull 100 royals, the right play here everytime is to hold the wild RF. I used to play 100 play DW and DWB/DWDB almost exclusively, especially at Casino Royal and the Coasts(when they had good pay tables for 100 play), and I have pulled as many as 10-12 royals when being dealt 4 to the RF. But usually I'd pull only 1 or 2 if any and the return would not be as high as holding the wild RF (paying 125 not 100 of course).
I would have to say that in DW, to throw away a deuce in any hand is a glaring mistake with one exception as Shadow did mention. When playing a single or 3-5-10 play machine and the progressive jackpot for any single hand is above appr 5200 credits, then and only then, would it be statistically correct to toss the deuce.
