Re: The strength to get up and leave after a quick win
It's true my $350 doesn't very last long. I make the $350 last a little longer by walking around the casino between $50 sessions. For some reason if I'm going to hit 4 of a kind in DDB it seems like it's always within the first couple of minutes into a new session. If it's not going to happen that session, I feel like I could dump $5,000 into the machine and not catch up. By stopping a $350 I'm limiting my losses. There is not limit on the up side. I know this probably doesn't make any sense at all, but if you can't play 100% machines it does to me.

I'm glad to know that others have trouble getting out of a casino after too short a time. I tend to think that it's not so much the "win" but the interesting possibilities that happen with video poker. I love to see what cards come out.
I keep my playing money separate from my living money. Right now, it's great because I've got a few thousand to play with. I've had a few winning trips this year. The family has a place in Palm Springs so we are there a lot and the casino is 3 miles away. I seem to do best when my husband drops me off while he goes to the hardware store or something. I've won......and haven't had time to give it back.
