AC Trip
Got to the AC Hilton 7/10 early. Good thing we had a room reserved ahead as with Saturday being 7/11 the place was booked solid.
I headed first to a $1 DDB game and on the 6th hand was dealt 4, Aces, no kicker but a good way to start. Tangueray was playing her favorite $5 Double Diamond slot machine and hit a $1200 Hand Pay, better start. I treaded water for the next 4 hours. T and I were playing SL .25 VP when she said the machine was boring her and went back to play slots. I moved to machine on the opposite side and was doing nothing with AC Joker, switched to DDB and the fun started. Dealt Ad,Kd,Jd, Jc, 5s. Threw AP to the wind holding 3 to the Royal and sure enough got the Qd & 10d. The people playing on the same bank actually broke out into applause. I had $61 in credits yet and decided to play them off and cashout the Grand from the Royal and run. 10 Hands later dealt Ad,Kd,Qd,10d and 8c. Pitched the 8 and ( Hooray for our team) got the Jd. The row was pretty silent on that one. Cashed 2Gs and went looking for T. She was playing her DD Slot, I sat down to watch when she did this.
My picture taking leaves a lot to be desired, but she had 3 coins in for $12,500.
The next day I did nothing but T had another $1200 Hand pay on the same machine.
All in all one of the better trips we have had to Atlantic City.

faygo was T playing a progressive betting strategy when she hit that? Kidding, kidding, I don't want to THAT volcano to erupt again. Congrats on the hits and for those in your row who were giving you the silent razzies it was only jealousy. Congrats again, Ted.

I suppose a lot of applause and congratulations are in order. Well then. Glad you kids had a swell time and managed to turn a profit too. Ted brought up a good point though, was she playing the one dollar double diamonds before that hit?

T uses an intuiton strategy when playing slots. She will play one coin ($5) until something (Voices) tells her to go for the gusto. I got to tell you folks she has been absolutely uncanny about pushing the Max coin button at the right time.
As a follow up to the trip report, we headed to the bank on Mon. to deposit the check from her big hit. When our bank called the bank that the check was drawn on, they said the check was invalid. The branch mgr. then called the Hilton direct and got the cage manager who verified the check. Time to wipe away the prespiration. It seems , since the check was written late Fri. the issuing bank had no record of the check in their system yet on Mon. morning. Our bank said this hiccup was nothing unusal with banks were one Branch or Headquarter isn't aware of a transaction for a number of days.

Wow, thanks for the tip. I would have been sweating bullets too! "What do you mean? You HAVE to take this check, I just ate 12 grand in tacos!"
Glad it worked out and you got your moo-la in the banco! Time to celebrate.
