Re: AC Trip
Wow, thanks for the tip. I would have been sweating bullets too! "What do you mean? You HAVE to take this check, I just ate 12 grand in tacos!"
Glad it worked out and you got your moo-la in the banco! Time to celebrate.
We are going through withdrawals right now. Got to start planning the next soiree.
Eduardo, speaking of tips as you did, I'll pass along something that happened to STUPID (me) on this trip. I got bored with hitting Royals and took a break playing a .25 slot called Bonus Frenzy. I hit Triple Blazing 7s for a neat $250. Cashed out $200 not realizing that there was an extra .25. Ticket was for $200.25. I put the ticket in a $1 Wild Cherry and played awhile, cashed $200 not realizing that the stray .25 was also on the ticket. Put the ticket in a Quick Hit Blazing 7s $2 machine. The ticket came back out with just a .25 on it. My first though was that the Wild Cherry shorted me and found a Slot person to check for me. The meter showed that it had issued a ticket for $200.25. At this point, the Light Bulb went off in my brain. The $2 machine had put 100 coins on the machine and gave back the .25. (Some machines with TITO do this right away others hold it until you cash out as with the Wild Cherry) Hurrying back to the $2 machine ; I was too late, someone had spotted the 100 credits and cashed them out and boogied. Can we all say MORON.

Great trip report, faygo. Most happy for you two! What a weird check experience. We all have probably had that mad dash back to a machine to pick up a ticket or players card! Not too much to do w VP, but beware money orders. Your bank may cash it immediately and then come back to you weeks later, stating it was a phony, after all!

I hope you found a slot person or security when you found the credits missing. Sometimes they will check the ticket number and see if it has been cashed. If not, they can cancel it. Anyone cashing out the ticket is stealing. They might also be able to look at video and find the person. Of course, this has to be done quickly and you need someone at the casino that cares enough to do the work.

Cares enough was the issue. The Slot Attendant wasn't interested. I would have persued it further with Security if I wasn't in extreme pain from a Siatic Nerve acting up. At that point I just needed to get my hands on some Vicodin and lay down.
