Where to play MS GulfCoast
Planning a trip next week to go to MS Gulfcoast, staying at the HardRock. Any suggestions on a casino with some good vpoker or even were not to play? I like to play $1 progessive and some $1 TDB.

Several here on the forum recommend the Hard Rock. Our preference is the IP. Had good pay tables the last time we were there. You might check "vpfree2" to check the data base for the best machines for Biloxi.
Good luck and hit a RF or two...!

I was last in Biloxi about a month ago. Almost all of the casinos have dropped their VP payouts. The Isle of Capri, Hard Rock and IP used to have 9/6 dollar Jacks, but all are now 8/5 and lower. The Beau Rivage has the worst VP payback with 7/5 Jacks. The VP machines along the bar have the best pay schedule. The hotel and the people are great, but you have to get lucky to walk away a winner in Biloxi these days. They'll comp everything if you ask. Good luck!

Wow,
That's very disheartening. According to Bob Dancer, none of us should be playing VP in Biloxi then. Sounds like the casinos are doing a little gambling on their own, VP players will continue to pour in thousands of dollars a day to play a game they should walk away from. But because it's the only game in town, they'll keep playing. This is a bit of a dilemma for sure.

I don't know about the rest of the country but on the East Coast the odds are steadily declining. I can get Biloxi to comp my rooms, drinks, concert tickets, even plane tickets once in a while, but when you play the odds are so bad they are laughable. I guess they figure most people don't care about the odds. People are getting smarter and the casinos need to be competitive. I don't need 100% plus paybacks, but how about giving me a chance once in a while!
