New Orleans VP
We are going to New Orleans next month, staying at Harrah's (free rooms). Anybody know where the best VP is in the area?

redleg,
Have a great time at Harrah's. We found generally poor VP pay tables but still had a great time in March. Check VPfree2 for the best VP. We did find one bank of 9/6 DDB - four machines if I remember correctly.
Good Luck,
LL

It's not the best casino by any stretch of the imagination, but New Orleans is a great place to visit if you take some caution about crime. There are some fantastic restaurants. Try the bar at the Roosevelt Hotel downtown, which is an authentic 1935 bar....nothing has been changed except they now have a computerized cash register. Otherwise, it's just like stepping into an old black and white movie set. There are also plenty of quaint bars and restuarants in the Uptown area, which is quite a bit safer than downtown or the French Quarter, and much classier. From New Orleans, you are only an hour or so away from the casinos of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and they are somewhat better than Harrah's but still not nearly as good as Laughlin, where I now mostly play.

Beignets and French Market coffee at Cafe Du Monde. Can't be beat! But...the calories!
