Atlantic City Visit
Hey all, new to the forum. I took my mom to AC a few days ago and went to play jacks or better. I started at Caesars but could not find any 9-6 machines. Then traveled to Wild West and still could not find a 9-6 machine. My mom could not understand why i wasted so much time just walking around looking at paytables for a 9-6 odds. I tried to explain but she could not grasp what i was talking about. Anyway i sat at a 8-5 machine to kill some time so that she could play her nickle machines. I stuck a $20 bill in a quarter machine and just tried to stay alive. What felt like a year and a day of fighting and scratching to stay alive i finally got ahead for $70 and cashed it out. I waited until my mom was done then we went for something to eat. I wanted to go to another casino, so we went inside Ballys. There i found a 9-6 machine but for $1. Since i wanted to play so bad i stuck a $100 bill in and tried my "luck" about 45 minutes later i was up $600 (minus my $100). Unfortunately my mom was getting tired and so i cashed out and took her home. Well at least i walked away a winner! I usually play at Monticello Casino and Raceway in Upstate New York where the majority of the jacks or better machines are 9-6.

Golgo, welcome to the forum. You are so right, sometimes it seems like an all out war. Congratulations on beating the machines into the dust.

Upstate machines are not slot machines, they are video gaming machines, they pay back approx, 85% which is really bad, Test it yourself next time you get a pair or two pair throw them away you will get something equal back everytime, I did it with three of a kind and flushes, You have no control over what you keep or throw away,The 9/6 pay table is just for show,

Slot machines? I dont understand where that came from, I play video poker not slots. Throw away 3 of a kind and flushes? Just to see if you get back equal? Hmmm I hope i dont own that strategy book. How about the 9/6 table? Cant the casino have some kind of problems for putting in incorrect paytables? Well all I know is that i hit a royal flush 3 seperate times in Monticello on 9/6 JoB .25 for a $1000 each. Might not seem like much but i'm way ahead of the game by still using "CASINO" money instead of my own. And thanks for the welcome faygo and JIMDUECE`SWILD.
