Dream Card Quads Not Given?
My wife and I have been playing Dream Card. The pay table claims three of a kinds dealt brings about the Dream Card Quad. We have repeatedly been dealt 3 OAK and not received the Dream Card quad. Last night for example: DDB dealt 3 4's - no Dream Card Quad. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi LL!
I actually played this for the first time the other night on the site. On 10 play, it's 100 credits per spin (that's $25 per spin at quarters). The money goes WAY to fast.
In response to your question, I think you forgot these words in the game desciption: "[when] the feature awards it." You don't automatically get the 4th 4. It's like Super Times Pay. You have to bet extra credits per spin to get the special bonus but it's not guaranteed every hand. It happens when it happens.
I have found many times the "DREAM" card turned into a "NIGHTMARE" hand! At 100 credits per spin on 10 play, I have received the dream card and still lost 50 credits for the spin.

I agree on this game. I think 10 credits for any one hand is too much. I think these games as well as Ultimate X, Good Times Pay are charging too much per hand. 6 coins is more than enough., I steer clear of these games... etc.....

I agree that a 10 crdit bet is a little scary at first. But for me, I just need to understand the circumstances and work with it.
In some cases it means more volatility. But not always. I think Dreamcard deuces is probably not a very volatile game since you get soooooo many deuces. I could be wrong on that but I would be surprised.
Would I play it like I play any other game? Of course not. It's a big bet. So I'd play with a lower denomination. But I'd still want to know how the overall return is and judge whether the volatility is something I am prepared for on my budget. If I'm playing 10 cents instead of quarters my bankroll could probably handle it just fine. If it was a game I wanted to play that I thought was worth a shot.
Some games I definitely avoid, mostly because I haven't learned a strategy for them at all or they just don't suit my style as far as entertainment. I haven't praticed dream card enough yet or read up on it enough to know whether it's a game I'll put some money into. Maybe I should try it a little more since I can do it free here, and see how it feels.
Other games with a bigger bet, like Quick Quads, I have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of. It's not as big a bet as dreamcard but it is an extra credit. But I know that those extra credits are the trade-off for the extra returns that are won. So an extra credit (or 5) on its own will not deter me, it just makes me consider things more. And the more extra coins I'm betting, the closer I will pay attention.
I agree that there are limits to how far we each want to push out bet amount and volatility. I'd never play 100 play in quarters because it would go too fast. But it can be fun to play some hands at a low denomination.

I played it again last night. 10 play TDB. I hit 4AWK TWO times, 4ANK once and 4(234)WK TWO times in addition to numerous other 4OAK, but still ended below way below the 10,000 starting point.
-None of the big hands were won via the help of a dream card
Personally, I don't see myself playing this game live, just on this site. However, it is entertaining to hear that lady announce "dream card winner!"

Continued playing Dream Card until late last night on 10 play DDB. The more we played the better the game got! Dealt 3 Aces, Dream Card 4th was given for 10 Quad Aces. Hit 3 AWAK.
Later, twice given the 4th DC card to a RF and hit twice.
I also found that by changing the DC (an option) I could increase my chances of hitting better hands. Twice changed a flush to 4 card Straight Flushes and hit several times. Later changed 3 to RF to pair of paying face cards several times. Sometimes got the even return, sometimes less and several more than bet.
I really like playing DC more than Ultimate X because I have an option on the DC. The cold spells are really long but I doubled my money and so did my wife before cold spells of 3,000-4,000.
10 bet is way to much to pay with the high volatility.

Wow! I had no idea you could do this until you mentioned it. Thanks LL. I never noticed the "change" button on there. I suppose if I had read the tutorial about the game, I would have. I just figured I would play without instructions and try to learn it that way.
Thanks LL!

Hey, we play the same way. Tutorials? Directions?
I like having the ability to change the odds on the hands to greater chances for a winner. I'll give up 3 RF for a paying pair most of the time!
