SHADOWMAN: A DEALT SEQUENTIAL ROYAL WOULD DEFINITLY BE WORTH HAVING A FRAMED PICTURE ON THE WALL. IN PLAYING VP FOR MORE YEARS THAN I CAN REMEMBER I HAVE ONLY HAD "1" DEALT ROYAL, WHICH WAS ON QUARTERS. THAT ALONE IS A (1 IN 649,739) PROBALITY.

Dealt Royal odds are 1 in 649,739. There are 60 different ways you can arrange 5 cards, and 2/60 of those would make for a sequential royal! so 649,739x30 are the odds of getting dealt a sequential.

Actually, 120 different ways to arrange 5 cards. So 2/120 of those would make for a sequential. So 649,739x60 are the odds of getting dealt a sequential.

Shadow, did you ask the attendant to check with management on the sequential? Some casinos have a bonus but because the hand is so rare many attendants don't know about it. Never clear a sequential until the bonus question goes all the way to the top.

I didn't ask but I played many years at that casino and never saw any mention of a dealt sequential bonus either before or after. In fact, I've never seen any bonus mentioned in any casino I've played in. It's either a well kept secret or not all that prevalent.

I have a feeling I will never see a sequential royal in my lifetime. I'll settle for a non-sequential one thank you very much.

Don't give up hope, Eduardo. My first RF of any kind, ever, took about 150K hands.
