Re: Returns on Ultimate X, Dream Card, Good Times?
New2VP, I hadn't heard that before. Bob Dancer is almost always right when it comes to such calculations, so I'll have to inquire about it. It could be one of a few scenarios:1) Perhaps Bob Dancer was working from unfinished pay tables on the game2) The wheel bonuses that are awarded from the 6th coin were not as expected (based only on an estimate) or not finalized3) These game types might not be available in Nevada4) I could be wrong about the requirement

Thanks, Webman for looking into it. I hope the G2E went well for your company and you. I'm looking forward to see what new kind of video poker games were displayed. So, is it correct to assume that the average wheel bonus is the same for all the different games? Dancer seems to indicate that.I don't have the software to determine what wheel average is necessary for the EV of the 6-coin Deuces Wild games to be above that of their 5-coin bases; and the 9/7 TDB game is not that far off. It would need to be at least 428.783; it seems that the average being used here on this site is just a bit smaller than that. Another possibility I suppose might be the precision in measuring the two EVs. Maybe the TDB 6-coin EV is close enough.I guess one other possibility might be that since people can play the machines withOUT putting the 6th coin in, the best-strategy EV for these games is EQUAL to that of the base games because one could simply play the 5-coin game. Thanks again.
