Gee i think it depends on what the trip is for mainly. If you want to be on the strip and do shows, the Caesars offer sounds really nice.

If you mainly want to play or have a resort-type vacation I would take red rock.

But why not do both if you can? Best of both worlds and all that free play to take advantage of... how long is the trip?

Wish i could get offers like these!

FARMER, I fully concur with Eduardo inre:where to stay and play. Strip for shows and entertainment, RedRock for gaming. Absolutely nuttin wrong with the Caesars offer but if y'all could swing both in one stay, do it.

Farmer1,

I concur. My wife and I recently did a two casino stay. We stayed and played on the strip offers and then moved to Red Rock for the last three nights to have the better gambling and a relaxing last few days before the trip home. Since we are both retired we usually don't do the strip and only do Red Rock. But give them both a try.

Video poker pay tables are significantly better at Red Rock (I suspect the slots pay better also). So, I would go to Caesars for the show and sight seeing and then head out to Red Rock for the serious gambling.

It's probably 8-10 miles out to Red Rock so a cab ride will be fairly costly. Not a problem if you have a car.

We stayed at Red Rock a few weeks ago. That's where I'd stay and drive to Cesers for the activities. Red Rock's beds are the bomb. Ceser's is only good if you get the Augustus Tower. Palace is good too but too long a walk for our senior citizens.

Farmer1, I just returned from Vegas. Stayed at Caesars, Augustus Tower, which is where we have been staying the last few trips. We like it a lot. Earlier this year, we did the Donnie & Marie show, which was FABULOUS. Upgrade for the "Meet & Greet" package on your free show tickets, and you won't be disappointed.
I was told Stations Casinos, which includes Red Rock, is in bankruptcy. As an FYI, the Belagio has added a bunch of the newer VP games. I was shocked at the assortment. The new Aria casino in City Centre is scheduled to open later this month, so check it out while there.

Farmer1,
Don't worry about bankruptcy of Station Casinos/Red Rock bother you. They are very much open and Red Rock still is the best as far as we are concerned.
