I check out Jean Scott's blog at Las Vegas Advisor when I am heading for Vegas and make it a point to check it out at other times. Her March 1 2009 blog on Frugal Vegas gives positive reasons for playing VP at M in "The New M Resort Spa and Casino".  We keep reading our email for Spirit Airlines offers when we are ready for a get away. We consistently are able to snap up super rates to FL and Vegas on Spirit. This trip is $360 for two of us. It was approximately double that shortly before Christmas. I believe they make a short-lived offer to fill up seats. One has to act fast and be patient to book it before it's sold out.
