Doris, the probability of getting no quads in one repetition from trips in dream play is 87.77%.  Now, the probability of getting zero or one quads from 26 tries is 15.55%, unlucky but well within the range of probability.I don't know if you're a basketball fan or not.  You can think of it as a good free throw shooter who shoots nearly 88% from the line.  In this case, we want to think of each of his shots being independent from each other, which might be a stretch.  But, if so, in this case, the quad occurs on the rarer times that he "misses" his free throw.  Certainly, once in a while he may hit 26 in a row (this happens a bit more than 3% of the time), which would parallel getting no quads in 26 tries.  Combine that with the 12%+ of the time that he hits 25 out of 26 and you'll see that it's not all that unusual. On average out of 26, we should expect to hit about 3.18 quads in 26 tries, but sometimes it will be less and sometimes it will be more.

Yes, I would; my husband and I try to go there every month, it's the only casino we play at in Reno. VP is the game we play and I would say on most visits, one of us will hit a RF, not evey visit but we have hit more RF at the Atlantis than at any other casino. Our money seems to last longer and  we always have more fun there. We love all the food at all  restaurants at Atlantis and the rooms are always very nice. It's a very friendly casino. My husband would tell you, it always feels like  home. If you haven't been there, give it a try next time you are in Reno

Sorry for the delay everyone... it is looking more like 4 o'clock Pacific for the start of the Ultimate X contest. I will start a new topic for that one when it begins.
