Re: Red Rock still my Favorite
once the "average tourists" are driven away they wont be back. this economy is teaching us all many lessons. 1. people are not racking up debt for consumption items, 2. people are saving and deleveraging(paying down debt), people are becoming better consumers more knowledgeable. now how that applys to las vegas many folks are checking out paytables comps. the lesson that casinos had better learn from the past is give people "deals" on rooms food shows people will come and gamble. most people dont play vp correctly average casino take 1-2% below optimum so suck it up casinos or close your doors

Apparently they have the new "Dream Poker" game there but videopoker.com doesn't have it listed as being there.

Visited Red Rock for the 1st time Labor day week-end and played VP about 5-6 hours.Beautiful place with good VP.Got a juicy offer in the mail and will be staying there for 2 nights in January.Hope it goes well.
The 2 night stay went pretty well. The room was spacious, full size windows with a great view of the near-bye mountains.Roomy bathroom as well, was not noisy in the room when someone is showerring which is a bonus.Ate at the buffets both mornings,no complaints.Has all the regular items, omelettes to order included.Ate at the Mexican restarant on the 1st night. They bring 3 differant salsas and a hot bean dip with the chips, yummy.Played alot of VP, Bonus and Double-Double.Pay tables were good.It seemed like most of the time you were out $100 or more before you would get your 1st 4 of a kind on a machine when you started( .25 and .50 play). That was about the only downer of the place.Seemed like I was a little luckier playing outside the sportsbook area, that could just be random luck though. Will stay there again if they keep the free room offers coming and they already are.

snooze,
Glad to hear you enjoyed Red Rock. The food court area has some really good food as well if you are in a hurry. It is still our favorite. We usually play the Optimum 100% VP machines located around the entrances. These machines give you the highest possible return. Hope the offers keep coming.
