Re: Deuces Wild
I kid you not when I say this is amazing inside info. Do they mix up VLT's in a casino? That is, are some programmed to do better than others? Do VLT's at least pay better than slots? Does physical location matter? Does it behoove one to play one manufacturer's product over another? Or to play a particular VP game over another?
I am not asking you to divulge trade secrets but is there a book or a source I can refer to if I want to know if I am dealing with a type ll or a type ll machine before I venture into a casino?
Have a great Presidents' Day!

Thank you Faygo. Interesting. I will play devil's advocate here. What if I am playing deuces wild and I am dealt two deuces and it's already been predetermined that I will have four deuces by the next deal -- but I'm a dummy and I throw down the two deuces before the second deal. How will the magic fairy possibly give me my 4 deuces to carry out my predetermined destiny? I already chucked away two irreplacable cards. I think, in this scenario, I would be such a loser that not even the "scratch off" machines could help me. What do you think?

Your win would show on the secondary game.

Sorry, I am not clear. What's the secondary game? The next game where I place a brand new bet? or are you saying the "magic genie" will give me two cards out of the deck which have been discarded? (I am not trying to stir up a semantical debate. I'm just a bit confused -- gee. what a surprise, LOL)

The genie provides a bonus win that just happens to equal difference between what you won and what you would have won by holding the appropriate cards.

Thanks. Me and the Genie are good friends but please go back a couple of posts to the scenario I presented to Faygo. How can the genie help in a situation where a not so smart player theorietically throws away 2 deuces and this player was predestined to get 4 deuces? The deuces I do believe are irreplacable. Are they not?

I thought my explanation covered that issue. Now, I've never played one of these machines, so please correct if I misunderstand their operation.
1) You are dealt 2 deuces and toss them.
2) On the draw you get two more deuces and say a pair of 10s.
3) The 4oak pays 20 credits.
4) The genie appears and awards you a bonus of 980 credits.
The total win is 1000 credits which would have been exactly the same if you had held the pair of deuces.
Make sense?

Where I play the Genie does not award bonus points per se. Your payout is determined by your hand only. However, the Genie pops up out of her lantern and changes your cards to give you your predestined hand (as per your info on class ll VLT's). There's plenty of cards left in the deck for the genie to fuss around and give you a str. flush (or whatever) but I've never seen her give back cards you've tossed. So, I guess in this one scenario a dummy who throws down a deuce or two or three or four is in deep quicksand to the point where the chick in the lantern cannot even help out.

OK, then I suspect it might give you back the two deuces. There's an easy way to check. The next time you are dealt two or three 2s, throw them away and see if you get one of the ones you tossed with the genie.
