Taj Trip

Went down friday night-arrived around 9PM. We played my cashback and bonus coin in a $1 3 line AC JW that max bet is 3 coin per line-5tree payout is 2400 bucks. Straight flush 300-Did nothing. Hubby says lets go to the $1 single line Triple Poker (AC variation of WHA) and see if we can get something going. (usually friday night we dont like to play too much of our bankroll -like to save for Saturday)
 
We got dealt 4 3's with a 100 buck investment for 600-Kept playing and got 4 As for 1200-so I convinced H to "invest" 300 in $1 3 line Ultimate X (last time we did this we got dealt 4 10s with some multipliers for I think it was 1250)  -he really didnt want to but...On the 4 or 5th hand got DEALT 4 4's in DDB! No multiplier of course!-OK lets pull for kickers-none-so again right at the point of needing a W2! /  
 
Saturday was a struggle-Best hits were 4 3s for 600 and 4 As on triple trouble for 1000. The rest of the day was just a steady bleeding-We pulled to 4 to the Royal 4 times-nothing, and we played single line and 3 line AC JW without ever getting dealt a 4tree to pull!
 
The $1 video games were duds-Cleopatra was really cold as were most of the games. We actually had one bonus round where we won $0000! ARG!
 
OH forgot-on Saturday the other good hit was getting dealt a straight flush on ACJW. We got dealt most of our big hits! I know it sounds like we won a lot but when you play $1 denom it can slip away when you are playing for 11 hrs. We lost an "acceptable" amount-We kept the bankroll for next weekend intact PHEW! (we hate to dip)
 
Side notes-Taj had 5X comp dollars fri-Got 350. Saturday they had a candy bingo-you got a soda or water and a big bag of candy from there shop and they gave away 30000 in total with 10 bingo games-didnt even get close to winning! But it was fun and got us away from the machines.
 
We also saw 3 movies-
The Road -a good movie but depressing as hell.
Its Complicated-very cute and funny-I love Alec Baldwin!
Sherlock Holmes-I enjoyed it but it was very hard to understand Robert Downing Jr with his version of an English accent. I actually enjoyed Jude Law in this-dont really like him usually.
 
All in all a very enjoyable trip!

Don't sound bad at all Boops.   No one can beat the original Sherlock Holmes series on PBS.
$1 3/line can eat a bankroll fast. I can bear witness to that.

Did you stay at the Taj Boops? It sounds like you had fun but you're right about quickly losing when playing the $ level. Keep the bankroll intact, Ted.

It's fun to read about your AC trips and glad it was a good one, Boops. We liked seeing "Sherlock Holmes" at Red Rock casino and it was pretty much what we expected. "It's Complicated" was good for laughs and met all the hype we had heard about it. It was the actors that made that one.
