November Vegas Visit

Post by rosalie »

Webman this is for you.  I hear that there will be a gathering of videopoker.com players in November in Las Vegas.  If so, give me the dates and where it is going to be held.  It will be interesting to visit with some the the inline chat players.  I do not chat myself, but I read the chats whenever I'm player the online games.
Thanks,

Rosalie

November 16th and 17th we'll be at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. You may or may not be interested in attending the show, but either way it's a good time for members to get together somewhere in town, and if enough people sign up we'll probably do something more "official." We would just need to know how many people are officially "in." In the past, "maybe's" haven't shown up so only true confirmations will count.

Rosalie Those who live in LV and those who just happen to be in LV at that time should set aside an hour or two just to say "hi." Even if the expo isn't your bag, it's still a great opportunity to meet the good folks here on the site. the few I've met are wonderful people. Make the effort won't you? Webman would be happy to see a great turnout. NO! I'm not employed by this site in any way. I just think it would be neat.

How much does it cost for admission to the Global Gaming Expo? I believe admission is usually around $125. If you plan to attend the Expo, be sure to let us know in advance and we'll see if we can work out a deal for some members. No promises, as space is always limited. Any group event would be held apart from the convention itself so that anyone could attend.

I think there are quite a few planning to attend, perhaps not for the expo, but to meet some of our vp buddies. I agree with Ed, the ones that I have met have all been great. Perhaps we could sign up here when plans solidify so that webman can work out the logistics.

I would love to attend the vp gathering, I don't think that I will go to the expo itself.  If you let us know in advance, we can plan to meet somewhere so we can all have a good time.  I'll be looking forward to that.
Thanks,  Rosalie

It sounds like there is a lot of interest. We'll post some information in the next few weeks for some sort of "official" get-together so everyone has an event to plan around.

What is the temperature in vegas during November ?
Is it to cold to go swimming and the casinos close the pools?

it usually is too cold for swimming in November. it gets really cold in the desert at night; not sure if they close the pools, i'm usually overwise occupied.
