AC TRIP

WIFE AND I JUST GOT BACK FROM AC WE STAYED AT HARRAHS. ROOMS WERE OK FOR THE LITTLE BIT OF TIME WE WERE IN THEM. A LITTLE DISAPOINTED IN THE RESTAURANTS THE 2 STEAK HOUSES WERE NOT OPEN AND THE PRESALE LINE FOR THE BUFFET WAS ABOUT AN HOUR JUST TI BUY YOUR PRESALE TICKETS. THE BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT WAS THE SHUTTLE, THE SIGNS SAY 20-30 MINUTES THE 2 TIMES WE WAITED WERE OVER AN HOUR EACH TIME.(THANKYOU HARRAHS FOR SAVING ME $) ONE OF MY HIGHLIGHTS WAS A WORKING GIRL CAME UP TO ME AND ASKED ME IF I WANTED SOME "BROWN SUGAR TONIGHT" AFTER A SECOND OR SO I TOLD HER I WAS HERE TO GAMBLE AND THANKED HER ANY WAYS. MY FRIENDS SAY SHE MUST HAVE SEEN THE BULGE IN MY PANTS    FROM MY WALLET OF COURSE.VP HIGHLIGHTS/LOWSDEALT 4 TO THE RF 5X PLAYING 10 HANDS HIT 1, 1/50HIT ACES WITH KICKER 2XWAS DEALT QUAD 2 WITH ACE 10 HANDS @ .25DEALT QUAD JACKS IN ULTIMATE X NO NO MULTIPLYERDEALT QUAD KINGS IN 10 HAND $1.00OVER ALL HAD A GOOD TIME AND WILL PROBABLY RETURN.YOU WERE RIGHT JIM NO TRIPLE DBLE EXCEPT IN DREAM CARD AND ONE QUICK QUAD GAME AT BORGATA.

Way to go Farmer. Where would you recommend we stay if we go to AC?

HARRAHS IS OK, YOU CAN WALK TO THE BORGATA 5 MINUTES. EVERYTHING ELSE YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE SHUTTLE, JITNEYS OR TAXI (MAX FEE OF $13.00. WE WOULD PROBABLY STAY ON THE BOARDWALK NEXT TIME. CAESERS OR BALLYS.

I just got back form AC myself. Was at Showboat playing 25 cent 9/6 Jor B and hit a royal.   This was my first Royal of the year.   Now I am back to even for the year. LOL    I was playing at Showboat because they have a special. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, they will give you a free Buffet, when you earn 50 credits in a machine. Boardwalk was packed with people. Lots of family’s with kids under 21 so I don’t know how the casino’s made out.

Welcome to forum, hijack,Great going in AC! I hit a .50 royal playing DW at Showboat on one trip after hitting smaller royals at Borgata. Some trips are definitely more productive than others! Some day I vow to get to that AC aquarium. Interesting trip report, earlier, farmer1.

I took a walk to the Aquarium when I was at the showboat. It was early in the morning and it was still closed. It’s not big but I hear it is interesting. They have the diving bell that was used off the steal pier sitting on their front lawn. I keep walking to Harrah,s but did not play anything. They have some of the worst VP pay tables in AC. When walking fromTrump Marina to Harrah,s  I spotted a turtle walking up the beach to lay its eggs.

How did you go from Showboat to Trumo Marina to Harrah`s. If you went by street sidewalks because the boardwalk doesn`t go that far. You would have to walk around the inlet.  BE CAREFULL IN SOME OF THOSE NEIGHBORHOODS.

larry,caesars and ballys are both nice.caesars has renovated in the past 2 years so their rooms are nicer.

I took Maryland Av. It’s the street between Showboat and Taj Mahal. It’s a straight walk down this street to Trump Marina. The neighborhood you walk through looked ok. It’s newer garden apartments. During the day I only saw a few kids on bikes. There were not many other people out or traffic on this road. At night most people probably would not want to walk this way, because it is very out of the way. But during the day it seemed fine. About half way there the bay will be on your right and it’s were the commercial fishing boats dock. From the Trump Marina there is a sidewalk on the inlet side that will take you to Harrah’s. This sidewalk continues in back of Harrah’s to the Borgata. The walk to the Borgata is very nice. They have benches where you can sit and it over looks the bay.
