Chris had contributed over 1400 posts to this site. You can read many of them by logging on to Research at the top of this page. Perhaps half of those posts were useful contributions to VP and he shared his expertise and math skills. So many of the others were rofl type and bantering with fellow VP.com members, displaying his varied sense of humor. We need to respect his choices. Nice touch, faygo, with that appropriate pix. RIP Chris, you are missed by many!

Such sad news  I didn't know him personally but chatted with him a few times on here and read numerous posts from him in the forums. He was certainly an important contributor to this website. He will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to his  family and friends.   Very nice tribute Faygo with the photo and sentiment.

I recently learned of his passing as well, with great sadness.Cddenver was a well-respected member who always had a lot to contribute. He was also one of the first members I had the pleasure of meeting in person while in Colorado. As all would expect, he was very friendly, intelligent, and with a good wit.I've had numerous personal interactions with him over the past few years and I know many of you have too.  He was a regular participant in the forum, chat, and every contest event that we've held. This news came as a personal shock, and it will still take some time to process. He is most definitely missed.

Hi Webman,

We heard through the grapevine that CDDENVER, member Chris Day, passed away July 18th.  One of our members emailed us through the Facebook group.

I would like to propose (and it has much support), that our next contest be in his memory.

Do you think you could put a "In Memoriam:  CDDENVER" somewhere prominent in the Contest area so as many members as possible know he's passed on and we are dedicating this month's tournament to him?

Thanks much for any and all consideration.

Fellow players Webman has done this. Check the top of the rules page(which nobody reads usually, myself included) to see it.

Cd was a very good man. And that is the TRUTH. Boy he sure had that drunk bozo Fa la la figured out. He and I had so much fun exposing his scams. Fa la la will never command the respect that cd had. God Bless you cd.

I think CD's humor and intelligence were apparent in all of his posts. He will be missed.
