BROKE OUT OF MY SLUMP TODAY WAS PLAYING MY USUAL 10 HAND TRPLDBL DEALT 4 ACES NO KICKER GOT 4 ACES WITH KICKER ON THE REDEAL4X. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ALTHOUGH THE GREEDY SIDE DID COME OUT AND SAY WHY NOT DEAL IT TO ME OH WELL. NOW THE REST OF THE STORY. AS THE SLOT TECH WAS VERIFYING MY MACHINE SHE SCROLLED TO A PAGE AND WAS WRITING DOWN NUMBERS I NOTICED ONE LINE THAT SAID MACHINE HOLD 5.4% MACHINE PAY 94.6% THE $ PLAY THROUGH WAS IN THE MILLIONS I ONLY HAD A FEW SECONDS TO READ THE PAGE. THE GAME IS 9/6 TRPLDBLE DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT FOR HOLD AND PAY?I ASKED TO TAKE A PICTURE AND WAS TOLD NO NO. THEY WOULD BE HAPPY TO TAKE ONE FOR ME AND POST IT ON THEIR WINNERS BOARD I DECLINED.THANKS FOR THE INFO.FARMER.

The way some people play I'm surprised it's that high.

Sounds about right for a jacks or better paying game. The best return is around 98.7% and an extra 3% for strategy mistakes is fairly common.

3% for mistakes on these games is excessive as every ones has dancers flash cards (thats why the good games are gone)

I would venture a guess that less than 5% of players have dancer's cards. Have you seen some of the people that play the machines? Most people have no clue.

at palms fpdw the tourists have these cards i see them all the time and 3% loss for errors is alot most errors are minor within .25% of correct play except the guy holding a single ace in fpdw and hitting the royal

lol, i was watching a guy play the other day.  I can't remember what he was dealt but I looked over when he slowly let his full house count up 1 credit at a time  and I noticed he held KK3 playing JOB.

Then he was holding stuff like 5 6 unsuited over face cards.

Yes. That's what I'm talking about. I think RF is right that people who play the full pay machines are much much more likely to have dancer's cards. But it's a big casino and these machines are limited.

I was sitting at a bar. A lady was playing dollar vp and had no idea what she was doing. Very slow, thinking hard and it showed. A guy proceeds to come up to her (hitting on her I think) to explain the "strategy." His tips were the worst advice ever but I sure wasn't going to say anything. I think she would have done better on her own. That applies to vp AND the guy hitting on her.
