I have to ask. Would anyone have thrown away the FH trying for Quads? I sometimes question this when playing DDB but my training tells me no. Would have paid 750 if I did (and didn't hit any quads), or 1250 per quad. Assuming I'd get 1 quad it would have paid 1925 or possibly more if it hit more quads.
Had it been one of the low ones I would have tossed that FH in a heartbeat. But what do I know but the hand you had I would have played it the same way...
maybe

So,
Any A,2,3 or 4 and you would have considered tossing it. Just to add to the insanity, what if it were 3 A-4 with a low kicker. I've been tought not to keep low kickers. How would you all deal with that. I ask because someday I'll be faced with it, it will be the middle of the night, I'll be drunk and I won't have any lifelines left, oh wait, wrong game. Anyway. Interested in when you'd actually toss a FH.

With 3 aces in DDB you toss the kicker (even if a low pair of kickers). In TDB you should hold a kicker.

I toss the kicker in both games for any of the little ones but that don't make it right. Last few times I have thought about it since the long discussion on this forum but couldn't bring myself to do it. Main reason is looking back at my history most quad hand pays I have had were 2 draws. This is single line I am talking about.
