Lucky Larry - here's a question for you.  Did your heart just stop for a second when you saw that dealt beauty?

Again, congrats ! ! !

This one was really strange. First, because it was dealt I didn't have any anticipation that it might hit versus when you're dealt 2-3-4 to a RF and you hope, wish, or pray... I mean what are the odds somewhere around 1:650,000 or maybe more since it is Deuces Wild. This was my 4th dealt RF and while I waited to play that specific machine because it had the highest return table I sure didn't anticipate it.

Second, I was playing in one of those subconscious zones, so visually I don't remember concentrating on the screen but I literally recoiled in the chair according to the people who were playing next to me. I think I've played so much VP the subconscious can take over like driving home after work and then realizing you're in your driveway and not remembering the drive home. My wife calls it "being in her gambling zone".   Scary!!!!   I'm not sure if it was because it was the realization it was a RF or because the machine immediately locked up and the music started. I think my subconscious took over and realized it was a RF because my first nano second conscious thought was it was all black. I was standing up several seconds later before I looked at the whole screen and realized all 5 hands were royals. Then I began to shake. Must have been a split second adrenalin rush.

It was different from my last dealt royal last April - late at night and tired on multi-hand 5¢ Deuces Wild. I remember looking at the hand for a second or two and thinking I hold all of these right? Thank goodness it too locked up with a G statement.

Wish you the best Kjohn. Enjoy Vegas, hopefully the weather will be warmer. Our daughter/SIL are making the trip in late January. Wish we were going so we could meet up.

Just curious, the payout on the first royal appears to be higher than stated on the pay table???
