Damule I am confused either I am right or I am not.You cannot have it both ways. natives calling natives an indian is akin to a group of african-americans the n word. but hell hath no fury if a white person would use that term

your accusations of pulling aces from decks could get you in court getting sued for libel.I doubt it. I was stating a fact, not making an accusation. It made headline news when it happened and was found to be true, as some other Wisconsinites on this forum will remember.Yes, Ho Chunk owed a lot of money to the state also. In fact most of the Indian casnos did in the early years. And the Indians continue to force sports teams to change their names, as in the current Mukwonago High School case. I could never understand the Marquette Warrior case, though. The figurative definition of warrior refers to someone who shows great vigor, courage, or aggressiveness, as in politics or athletics. I would've thought it'd be an honor to be referred to as a warrior, not an insult. Why did the Indians think they had controlling rights to this word?I'm only commenting again because you continue to twist the facts except for admitting that reports and monies don't get turned in to the State. I'd rather get back to perfecting my VP play.

okie dokie: "They informed me I hadn't caused any trouble (and that I wasn't in any trouble), but I was "un-welcomed" for a period of 30 days."
If I am having a run of luck at a VP machine, I often will take notes of my hits. I wonder if this is being observed and if so might be misconstrued as some sort of scheme for winning.

Before tito, at Bally's in Vegas, I had a lucky slot machine spitting out $250 in coins several times. I sent my husband to a cashier a few feet away and when he returned, I sent him with another bucket of $250. Finally, a repairman showed up and said he had to work on my machine. I always thought the cashier may have notified the powers that be of my several hits in a brief period of time. In retrospect, perhaps we should have cashed out at some different cashiers locations. Others have said I should/could have told that service man that I was not through playing that machine. I cannot see that point and feel they would have asked me to leave the casino had I resisted the request to service that machine.RE: my earlier post about being 86ed at MGM Detroit. I am not terribly concerned with what I wear to a casino. I do make it a point to be conservative and blend in. I wear nothing that would attract unwanted attention as flashy, colorful or lots of jewelry or make up. Since it was January and in Michigan, one bundles up against the elements for survival. IMHO nothing about my appearance should have warranted that 86.

Indian is not our word fact. the kewaunee complaint was filed by a non-tribal person fact. If aces were pulled from decks the casino would have been shut down fact. in the early stages of casinos in wis no compacts were established fact. The first compact signed by tribes and the state was signed by the oneida tribe fact. The only casino shut down by the state was keshena for having leased machines from the mob in chicago fact. YOU KNOW NOT OF WHAT YOU SPEAK FACT.

edog,
I know you're going to take this the wrong way, but I don't care. Obviously from reading your posts your comprehension and grammatical levels are suspect. My intent of the earlier post was to point out that the term "native american casino" is politically correct and that the term "indian casino" is commonly used and is not considered offensive by most.
I'm now done posting about this ridiculous subject.
