4 aces dealt on PAY THE ACES
Last Tuesday, at Main St. Station in Las Vegas, I was playing PAY THE ACES. If you are not aware of this game, any ace on the deal without a face card showing, it pays 5 coins immediately. 2 aces dealt without the face card is 10 coins, paid immediately. 3 aces dealt without the face card, is 250 coins and 4 aces dealt without the face is 7500 coins. This one I hit. First time in 20 years of playing this game. After the 7500 is paid, you get another $100 for the 4 aces. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me the odds of this happening. It was a surprise, I'll say that.

A dealt quad in any specific card is a little over once in every 54K hands. If the other card cannot be a face card then 1/4 of time you will not be as happy.

Congrats on the big hit. It's hard to walk away from this game a winner. You need a lot of help from the dealt aces as drawn cards return only 79% in the 8/5 game that I'm familiar with.I agree with Shadow on the odds. That can be translated to about 72,000 to 1. Odds for the other dealt-ace hands are below.
4 Dealt
Aces w/no face
72192 1/3
to 1
3 Dealt
Aces w/no face
1030 1/3
to 1
2 Dealt
Aces w/no face
59
2/3
to 1
1 Dealt
Ace w/no face
10
1/33
to 1
Dealt solo aces with no face add a bit more than 9% to the return of this game.If it's the same game I'm thinking of, proper drawing strategy would have the odds of any royal at 36,958 to 1; so your hit was twice as unlikely as getting a royal.

Good for you. Ive played those machines at Mainstreet before, the best I could do was 3 Aces. I am sure the odds are pretty high to be dealt that hand. Thats why it pays more than he royal. Wish I was downtown LV right now.

Thanks everyone. I just came home from 10 days in Vegas and Laughlin. In Vegas, could not hit at Caesars (DUH!), Rio, or Orleans. Stayed even at Red Rock and always ahead at Main Street. Came home $1000 up after the 10 days in Vegas..Caesars was free with comps. In Laughlin, The Golden Nugget is my choice, and also came out ahead by $400 there. Other than they are completely ripping up the one main road in Laughlin, had a really good time. The Nugget in Laughlin is really fun because they still carry the old machines from 10 years ago, and there are many different games to choose from. I hope that some of the Casino's will start to vary their VP games, but I think that may be too much to ask. Also, I never saw a Dream Card game at any place we went.

My Mom loves Aces With No Faces. She plays the nickel machines at Sam's Town all the time. She was dealt four aces without faces on a quarter machine at Boulder Station once. She made quite a bit of money that time.
