Try'n to be like LL with my own streak!!!
After following many of Lucky Larry's postings I decided I would try it myself. I headed down to Harrah's AC on Sunday night for my usual one night getaway I had a pretty good night. Had a hand pay and also 800 bucks on a slot machine. This is a big deal because I NEVER win at slots. I think it was 2 or 3 pulls and I was gone.. Anyway. I ended up staying most of the next day and had a total of 6 hand pays. Here are the pics. Sorry some of them are blurry. It was a really great day...

This all looks great, but how much did you actually win?

A fraction of the total payout. It took a lot of money to keep getting those hand pays. I can say that my Tier score went up 14,000 points in a day. Guess I'll stay Diamond for a while longer.

Nice hits rover! I have a computer full of them also. Unfortunately, I know all too well from experience what type of investment it takes to get all those jackpots/handpays on STP and ULT X. Ever notice you never seem to get the royal flush on the large multiplier when playing dollars, why is that? LOL. Anyway, take it from a former Seven Stars player, look for casinos with better paytables and play the same games and you'll never care about Diamond or Seven Stars again when you realize how much more money you would've made (actually saved) playing elsewhere.

good point harrahs casinos have poor paytables which clean out your pockets. in the "old days" harrahs had good paytables with bonus points good comps when i had a diamond which was easy to keep 10 play 25c nsud and 9/6 job which for $100,000 coin in (expected loss on nsud about $260 i would get full room comps points for food shorter buffet lines free show tickets and i would do the bulk of my play on other places with fpdw 9/6 job places with double royal promos which is expected value +1.5% and play matchplay coupons now when i go to lv the best deal is gold coast for nsud and 9/6 job to get comps on bonus point days and use coupons for match play first card ace to get cash

These are good points. I gave up trying to find a good pay table at Harrah's With my high coin-in "investment" I do get all the free rooms, food, etc. I consider it a decent "cleaner" hotel in AC. Some of the others are pretty dismal. I like being over on the Marina side of AC and I guess I feel for that I pay in the pay tables.
I'm open for suggestions though. Give me some options when I go to AC. I'm a technical player and want to give myself the best chance. I do concede when it comes to pay tables, but I want to learn what I should really be doing when it comes to this aspect of play.
Will be going to Vegas in May. Suggestions? Probably going to stay at MGM grand.

Way to go Roveer. I can't ever seem to get hits on STP and only a couple on Ult. X. Maybe i just don't play them enough. Keep the streak alive...
