Thanks guys.  Not many games that can get my heart pump'n, but plow 1,500 bucks in STP, set it at dollars and hope for the spinnie, that'll do it every time.  Guess with all that has happened that about the only thing left to shoot for is a great hand on a big multiplier.  Funny thing is, I never had a hand pay in 12 years in vegas.  Last year was my first.  Then I'd get them just about every trip to AC, now 5 in a single day.  What's left?  I'm getting a little burned out/bored with Harrah's AC.  Does anyone like Caesars AC?  I tend to like the fancier places.  Used to only go to Borgata, but it got a little stuffy there and I could never get a seat at the bar to play video poker (lots of the young crowd all posing).  That's when I went to Harrah's and found it to be bigger and a little more my speed.  Now I'm getting a little burned out.  There's only 4 STP machines in the smoking area and no UX.  Guess I have to go exploring some new places.

Anyone have any good pay table advice for AC?

Will be returning to Vegas in May for my annual visit.  Will most certinly have to get this trip out of my head because I really don't think I can repeat it.  Of course I'm still shoot'n for my magical STP hand pay.  10K+...

i prefer vp at ballys ac over caesars;better game selection and caesars has mostly single line.most of ballys vp is in the non smoking tho.good luck!

STREAK CONTINUES!!!

Back at Harrah's this weekend for a little mom/dad time away.  Since mom is not a big gambler I tried to take it extra slow and do as much non-gambling stuff as I could.  We went to the diamond lounge for lunch, we did the jewelry givaway, our casino host sent champagne to the room so we drank that.  Then we had a little 20 minutes or so VP time back by the video poker bar.  Both came away up a few bucks.  Then dinner which was nice then we went in to play.

I tend to go back and forth between STP and UX with different VP in-between.  I also played a little 3 card poker.

Came away a winner.  This time UX (and a 1k hit on STP at Borgata).

So the streak is still alive.  Gotta give it a 3rd try and see what happens.  To be sure I'll report back...

Even the wife got into the act with her first Royal Flush.  Nickles...

Oh But Wait  There's More!!!

I almost forgot the best part.  You see above the my wife got her first royal flush.  Although it was only on nickles she was pretty darn proud of herself.  She managed to get her machine up to 345.00 and cashed out.  We joked about not giving me the ticket because I tend to train wreck in the middle of the night so she put it in her front pocket.  In the morning I saw her looking around the room for the ticket.  She was obviousely annoyed and said that she wasn't able to find it the night before.  It was gone!!!  She said the pockets in her jeans were shallow and it must have fallen out.  I tried not to show much emotion but I wasn't particularily happy about losing 345 dollars in cash.  She said she was going to go to lost and found and see if someone turned it in.  I laughted and said It's cash, your at a casino.  Then I decided that it would be a good idea so the folks at the cage could give her a good chuckle.

Downstairs we went and after going to the cage they sent her to security.  At first they just looked at her like "are you serious", then one of the guards started asking stranger and stranger questions (where, when, what machine etc).  He get his supervisor and they start talking and pointing at this plastic box on the wall behind them with a bunch of brown envelopes in it.  After a while the guard takes a pencil, puts some tape on the end and sticks it in the box to pull out one of the envelopes.  Can you believe they couldnt' find the key...  Anyway, after another half hour of computer work with my wifes card they handed her the ticket for 345 bucks.  Apparently she lost it in the ladies room and one of the atttendants turned it in.

So off we went with her thinking "well that's the way it's supposed to work", and me, well, all I was thinking was "only my wife"...

That really made the trip.
