How would this affect your Strategy...

Post by spxChrome »

.
Yes that RF JP is $8,077.68 for .25 poker.  In all my years of playing I have never even seen 1/2 this on a .25 machine.  I normally don't play .25 poker but I had to play this one.  By the time I left it was over $8,400 and still counting, there wasn't an empty seat to be found.  The bartender said he has been working at this casino for 13 years and had never seen it over $3,600.  He said it starts at $1,000 and usually hits around $1,200 or $1,500 max.

So what's the payback% on this game lol and what does it do to strategy :)  I was tossing pairs for anything suited to the Royal.

Looks like a return of 117% !!!!

Your TJ hold was in theory correct. RF2 holds would go up quite a bit.

Ever find out what it hit at?

I would not have gotten up until it was mine or someone else's. They can bring me food and pillows!

I was there for about 10 hours.  I only played it for an hour or two through out the day $20 here $20 there.  I was mostly playing DDB $1 Triple Play or $2 TDB single line.

I did get deal 4 to it 3 times.  Closest I got was when I needed the 10C and it gave me the 10S and I was on a machine that was so worn out the colors were only black and blue.  Made my heart skip for a milli-second .

Far as I know nobody has hit it yet.  When I left yesterday it was over $8,400.

Keep in mind that some states require closed progressives to be added to other machines if they shut down one not at its reset value. So, this could be a case where other progressive jackpots were added in. Or, not ...

That is true in this state, I've seen it done with some slots.  But that is not the case of the JP.  This bank is about 20 machines that circle a bar and stage.  I'm guessing it has gotten many 1 coin Royals of the last few weeks.  You know those peeps who sit at the bar playing 1 nickle at a time for free drinks.

Well I've seen .25c Royals go well over $10,000 more times than I can count. But that doesn't under play how rare it is, and how profitable it is to play at a number like that.
