DDBP small pair vs. a straight or flush
One more question. These seem to be the only hands I have problems with...when you have a small pr. and then 4 to a flush or four to a straight do you hold the small pr. or go for the straight or flush....I go for the st. or flush except if I have a 22,33,44 and then I go for the bigger win..Any advice????

I never go for the straight or flush unless it includes a face card or ace.
I try to go give quads the chance to show up.
I also advance in denominations, that way when a quad hits it usually puts me ahead for the day.

I also never go for the flush unless it has a face card in it. Toss the pair because there are only two more of those in the whole deck versus 9 chances to make the flush!

Hold 4 to the flush all the time. You will lose less over the long tem.
