When will the new gold features start?  I am a gold member and have not been able receive them!

Had no idea there was going to be a new site..Will we be automatically directed there from the old Gold site...

Yes, all accounts will stay the same and the new site will replace the current one. You'll need to remember your password though, since you'll need to log in again when it first launches.
