Frank, a question for Mr Lipparelli regarding VP. I assume a casino is still not allowed to control the outcome of a hand, only the pay tables. But in these 'lean' times in gaming, can a casino adjust lower the number of times that a 'bonus' feature appears, such as a multiplier in Super Times Pay, and still be compliant with the NGC?
Also Frank, if you can, ask Mr Brown why Action Gaming does not make the VP Jackpot music available as a ring tone for your cellphone. I think it would be great.

I like those questions billyjoe. I would like to hear the answers especially to the one about the STP multiplier, although it does say it will appear an "average" of every 15 hands on the game help screen still.

Yeah Mule, and I know that unless you are keeping accurate track of all the hands you play, it can seem as though it is not appearing that frequently. I actually recently had a casino supv get a tech over to check a machine after I ran $500 through it, playing 5-way $0.50, without ever getting a multiplier. They pulled the machine record, and it showed the last 50 hands, which is as far back as they could go on the floor, had no multiplier. I said "A little out of the average, huh?". The tech ran diagnostics, and could find nothing wrong. The supv gave me a $200 'inconvenience' voucher, never saying that anything had been set differently.
I wouldn't say that I have never played STP since, but I have shy-ed away from it after that. I do know that I have since been playing next to STP players who seem to go long stretches without a multiplier.
I hope that Frank can get that question to the NGC guy on his show.

50 hands is just over 3 cycles which isn't all that unusual. I've had 10 cycle gaps in some of my play in the past. One time was on here playing QQs. I went 2000 hands without a single quad/QQ. The cycle time is just over 160 hands. I know a person that went over 400K hands without a RF. Ouch.

billyjoe,
I still play STP alot and I have gone 60-80 deals without a multiplier many times. I've also received multipliers on 3, 4, and even sometimes 5 deals in a row. So I still think the game does average out to that 1 multiplier every 15 deals on average.
Only thing is, where is that darn multiplier when i need it ?
Oh there it is :

Frank, I listened to your show last night. You appeared a little 'star-struck" with your Andrew Dice Clay interview, although, personally, I could not see the connection with gaming, much less VP, unless your taking your best friend's wife as your 'date' to the ADC show that night was a gamble for you. Maybe a bit less time with all that and more question time with the NGC guest would have worked better. If the NGC guest returns, please consider my question.
