2 AWAK+2 RF = Good Night

Post by Lucky Larry »

Sweet C and I enjoyed a good trip to the Isle on Thursday and Friday. We returned to find the Prog. DDB up to $1,300+. So she immediately began her attack. The progressive had already paid off the AWAK three times within two hours - twice to little old Genevieve (70+ is my guess). As it got later Genevieve kept saying she needed to quit and go home. I am playing next to her and she is hitting quads like crazy. She cashes out a $200 ticket, walks back by and says, "I think I'll try one more $100." First hand is quad 3's. Twenty minutes later Genevieve is waiting on her Prog RF payout to go home. Congratulations Genevieve .

Friday night I playing my favorite 3/5 play and throw a pair of 2's on Super Aces to hold 3 to RF and hit the RF in hearts. Later, I catch 4 deuces before I get cold. Sweet C can't hit on the Progressive so she and i double team a multi-hand 5¢ machine. When I return from the room an hour later, Sweet C is eager to try the Prog AWAK which is now back over $600. She feels she will hit it and sits down at her favorite machine which has finally opened up. Within minutes she claims the Prog AWAK.   Meanwhile, Judy a friend of ours catches the Prog. RF in hearts. 45 minutes later Candy hits the same Prog. RF in hearts as well. Three RF between us all hearts. Using the old adage, "if you can't beat them - join them." I give up on 5¢ and catch the Prog AWAK around an hour later.

This bank of Prog DDB is most incredible bank of machines we've ever seen or played. During approximately 12 hours of play we saw 4 RF hits and 9-10 Prog AWAK hits.

All is not well however; as I awoke this morning my cell phone's screen (old as clay tablets) had died. Still can make/receive calls just a black screen. Guess I'll have to break down and spend some of my G account for a new phone. I think I rather have a root canal than look for a new phone.

Our kids think we already are. They call and ask are you there? or enroute? Couldn't live long though on what we take home but we'd have a bed and two meals a day comped.

If you have not tried this already, Larry, pull the battery out of the phone for a few seconds, and then put it back in. You should not lose any of your stored data. My phone loses it's brains every now and again, and this seems to work well to get it back functioning.

billyjoe,
Thanks for the heads up. Tried that but it appears the flex cable is damaged. While in the phone store I opened and shut it hard and the screen came on. Went down later and my phone was 5+ years old so we upgraded. The screen lasted long enough for me to immediately bluetooth my last hits and several other items to Sweet C's phone.

Now I'll have to learn how to use this new fancy thing, didn't even get to enjoy the "fountain pen stage".

Lucky Larry - Honestly you have the best luck on this Forum!
Also, the clerk in the cell phone store should've been able to download all of your infomation from your old phone to the new one.
