Sticky Keys-am I the only one who..
Am I the only one who will call for a tech guy to come work on a sticky key(s)? Heck! If I am on a machine I like and a key(s) is sticking...I turn on my light and ask the attendant to send over the tec guy. When he arrives I tell him of the sticky key(s) and ask him to repair them (I move over to the next machine till repairs are complete then return). He can and often will change out the key or makes necessary repairs. Sometimes you get a a__h___ who does nothing but walk around and refuses to do anything like his job calls for. But far and away when I ask in a nice polite way the tec guy will do his best to correct the problem.
Each time I get on a machine with sticky keys, I ask myself--Am I the only one who ask for repairs to be made? Am I ?????????

Mary you may be one of only a few that bring that problem to thier attention. One reason is people are in a hurry and if the machine didnt take any money or not pay out ect ect people will just move to another machine snd dont want to be bothered with it.
Lets face it sometimes it takes forever to get somebody to fix the machine, also folks are there just for the day and time is short so they just move to another machine. Its good that you let the casino know of a poorly operating machine because if we dont it may never get fixed.

Im definetly not gonna spend my time waiting for one of those techs to fix a machine unless Ive been shorted someway. Ill move to another machine. If most or all of the machines are not up to par, then I would go to another casino. I have been in some real dumps as others have. I know of one casino that I frequent that most of the repairs and updates are done on the midnight shift.

Mary,
You are not alone. I've made it a point to talk to and get to know the tech and slot pay attendants. First, they are working people like the rest of us and appreciate the respect and friendliness. Of course it is easier when you play at a smaller casino or play frequently.
I once had a tech who changed out a broken key on my favorite machine by stealing one from a brand new Dream Card next to it that rarely gets played. I don't hesitate to ask for repair if it is a machine I want to play. I do try to tip the techs when they "take a machine out of service" for me when we go to eat. I consider this an extra service call. I didn't even know you could request such a thing until a tech told me a machine was down for that purpose for another patron. Other benefits include making friends and getting to learn the latest casino news. A tech and slot pay attendant told us about the upcoming movement of VP machines at the Isle weeks ago. I also recommend getting to know the Directors of Slots and other "bigwigs". We are their customers and its amazing how frequently they have thanked us for our comments about service and issues. As a retired principal I can tell you I wanted my student's parents to let me know about issues. Couldn't solve their concerns if I didn't know they had them.

Mary, good for you girl. If we don't say something then nothing gets done. Were all in a hurry, but it's always nice to know that someone just took a min. and let a Tech. know that there is a problem with a particular machine.

I guess a person should say something but I never do, I just move on.
