Re: VP-Which Machine Will You Play?
Excatly. I prefer to call it a hot cylce when I win like 1550 credits off of 4 4oaks within 100 hands played.
Then I prefer to call it a cold cycle when I play 10000 hands without a 4 oak. I understand the math also and that the paytable is the basis of % payback. If you just had an unlucky bastard play vp compulsively through numerous cycles and he is down 20000 credits(no idea how many hands played), its hard to sell them the fact that its all random.
Let me put it this way= RNG is random but YES it is POSSIBLE that you can go to the casino for everyday for the rest of your life and have losing sessions. This is FACT. I dont care how well you play. If the hits dont come up.......you lose. Youre actually hoping to have a good session. Theres no guarantee. Maybe the RF or quads will come.......maybe not. Its over a period of time what the machine WILL PAY, just maybe not to you. Thank you
my point exactly, were not sticking our hundreds into algebra books. the end result is what matters. the math is irrelavant, cause they are based out of millions of hands+, probally more hands than any of us will ever play. what matters that i pulled a 4 card RF not that I have gotten trip Aces 108 times without pulling the 4th. There is no math in that for me. Everyone gets so caught up in the Math and we are all short-term players to the chip.

There are hot and cold streaks. No doubt about it. But, it has nothing to do with a machine. A player can move from one machine to another and so on all day long and never hit a thing. Were all the machines cold? Or, is it the player that simply had bad timing that day? And, players can hit on one machine and move to another and hit again. Were all the machines hot? Or, was it the player? Now, assume the player didn't move. With random games they could experience the exact same results. Only this time we find everyone telling us it was the machine. Nope, machines are just machines. It is the player that is hot or cold. And, with an honest random game this is exactly what is expected.

The point is.........If I play a 98.98% DDB machine, am I guaranteed to receive a 98.98 payback.
Answer= No. There is no guarantee because of the very RANDOMNESS that everybody worships. It can go either way. Although this may be unpopular, its the truth. Youre hoping for a good session, play the right machines with best strategy and the rest is out of our hands.

That is exactly right. But, two things are not out of our hands. The first is to understand which machines will return the best over time. And, the second is playing the best strategy we can. If we do those two things every time we play, then we may or may not do well that day, but over time we should optimize our results.

I agree also but I never like to leave any casino with my money, so I take my play a few steps further and 95% of the time I leave the casino as a winner.
I play two different games at 5 denomonational levels and when reach my win goal, I get up and leave.

Lol, I know the feeling. But it would depend on how much you won. The primary reason I go to the casino is to always TAKE HOME SOME OF THEIR MONEY. Yes I enjoy playing VP but I know that if I stay after a good win, then I will doing exactly what the casino's are expecting everyone to do. Give it all back and more... How many times have you done that?

Ive never done that. I dont play less than 5 credits. I read your post about playing 5 different denominations. I was guessing that you fluctuate your bet. I wondered how would you feel if you hit a less than 5 credit royal. not sure i could live with that ,
Or youre talking about amount $ wagered
