O CANADA duh - casino hoping/hopping in Ontario
Niagara Falls, like the deer herds parading through our back yard, are always a thrill to see! Our non-gambling friends pressured us into signing up for a super economical, three day, four casino bus trip to Niagara Falls. That bus filled up almost immediately with repeat addicts and newbies. The tour couple had to return deposits to the over flow that wanted to go. The bus driver is a professional driver with the company where they leased the bus. For those looking for work, this looks like a relatively simple start up business. Send a P M if you wish more details. Two nights and two great breakfasts at the six story Hampton Inn by Hilton were included as well as a total $95 in food and free play coupons. Walk across the street and you are almost in Casino Niagara. Two, three hour, casino stops en route were government run, charity OLG casinos. (Ontario Lottery Gaming) We stopped at Western Fair, a racino, at London on the way out. Pointe Edward, almost beneath the big Blue Water Bridge at Sarnia was our last stop on the return trip before stopping at the Duty Free Shop. These are smaller casinos, with good restaurants and limited VP machines. They use the same Winners Circle players card and combine points and have the same menu. Gateway restaurant at Pointe Edward has a huge wall of windows over-looking beautiful Lake St Claire and Lake Huron. While dining, we enjoyed seeing a freighter pass by, churning up small ice floes. There are two huge casinos on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls: older Casino Niagara and the newer Fallsview Casino on a hill. Both use the same blue Players Advantage Club (PAC) card and combine points. You could hike between the two casinos. Two days in a row, our bus took 57 total across the bridge to SENECA NIAGARA CASINO on the US side, for five hours of play. This time span was required by the casino to get each passenger a $25 free play and $10 food comp. There were no TDB machines and none of those gimmick type games at any of the casinos. Fifty play was at Casino Niagara. Each time, on the way over, all of us had to deboard the bus and show our passports in a border guard bldg to enter the states. This gets really time consuming when there are several tour buses waiting ahead of us. Alas, no big hits for me in over 20 hours of intensive VP. Quad aces showed up when playing DWB. We saw 7/5 and 6/5 DDB. When does a WRF look best, besides being on your machine? Answer: When it's on your last 5 credits you are willing to play and ready call it a night. It was a fun trip in ideal weather conditions and all good! While my husband appreciated not driving that five hour distance, he may never get on another bus!

I think we have finally learned not to irritate those border guards, Boops, especially when returning to Michigan from Canada. The guard could have fined us up to $18, 900 for the handful of grapes, baby carrots and three unedible clementines on a recent border crossing. This was mentioned here recently. He finally let us off with a warning. $300 per item first fine and $500 per item the second time!Between Sarnia, Ontario, Canada and Burlington, Ontario is flat farm land, vineyards and horse country. It was very cool seeing two horses trotting and pulling surreys as well as seeing both Lake Huron and Lake Ontario on the same day!HOMES is the way school children learn to remember the five Great Lakes.

That may be so, but the quality of the video poker offered at Allegany is inferior to Niagara's.
Niagara offers full pay pick'em for both $1 and $5, 9/6 JOB (albeit quite pricy since it's $5 triple line), and 8/5 bonus poker for $1 or 50c. The $1 and 50c bonus poker is available in both single and multi-line (3 or 5 play).
While Allegany appears to have improved their vp inventory lately, the best game listed is 9/6 ddb, which, even though it is an immensely popular game, pays less than Niagara's best.
