MarySB, whether you play one hand or thousands your result are still random. It's not an option, it's the way VP machines work. So don't get hung up on randomness other than to understand that your results will vary over time. It doesn't matter how many machines you play or how long you play. There is no difference if you wait one second to play your next hand or one month, the odds don't change. Sitting down at a new machine with the same paytable has no effect on your chances. The people who talk about XXX number of hands are not talking about how long you need to play for randomness to affect you. Randomness is there on every hand. The discussion on number of hands has to do with what range of results can be expected. Nothing more nothing less.

Changing machines, oh the drama...If I leave a machine and move to the next one over I live in fear that someone will sit down at "my" machine and hit the big one, so I have to leave that bank of machines so I don't end up killing someone. It would be easier to just stay put, but there are just so many machines to try...Sort of like that box of chocolates in the Forest Gump movie...You just never know what you'll get...I also same opinion with you

That game will be available either as a stand-alone machine or a bank of machines. Pick one. Insure that all your buttons work correctly and then play for as long as you intend to. (if progressive, until the JP hits or your relief gets there). If you are already playing the best game in the house then there no need to move. Any deviation would simply be inferior. And here's the best part of using this strategy--There is no personal choice involved.Math dictates everything. This way your conscious can be clear. Make your decisions based on what the math says. It's been working pretty well for casinos for a while now.~FK
