L'auberge Jackpot

Post by Gigi2 »

I finally did it - playing at L'auberge at 3:30 a.m. on July 6 - about falling out of my chair.  I was about to go up to bed - had been playing $1 Super Times Play since 7 p.m. the night before - winning several nice jackpots - one three in a row - before they had paid me on the first I hit the second and third jackpots of around $2,000 each.
On the draw of the hand I held three to the Royal and up popped the Royal Flush on the third line - I looked and thought I saw it paid $2,000 - went thru my mind that somehow I had accidentally changed back to 50 cents accidentally - then I looked again - there was a 5 times multiplier and I had won $20,000!!
To make it even better I kept winning jackpots and in the end had over $37,000 in 1099's - and the best part is I brought it all home!!

Way to go Gigi. Super hits! LDL is the place to play $ VP since the games are 99% return. Which STP were you playing at LDL?

I was in such shock when I hit the $20,000 that I didn't take a picture - then everyone was around me.  The host did take a picture but couldn't figure out how to print it out - he is supposed to mail it to me.  If so I will post.

I was playing in the bank of machines to the left of the host's desk  if you are facing the desk - on the lobby side and the furtherest machine away from the desk - not right next to it.

I did make a copy of the check - $18,800 after Louisiana taxes - and a copy of the check from the miscellaneous hits I took out of the macine for over $4500 - the checks were cleared in my account today - I still can't believe it.

We stopped by on the 6th (the day you hit) to check out the new arrangement since they had moved the VP around after they opened up their new Poker Room. Curious as to how long it took them to print up a check. We've always taken the cash but we our biggest hit was only $8K.

Our daughter was at Delta Downs last Saturday when the guy hit the 25¢ Wheel of Fortune for $3.2 million and it took four hours to have the state certify the machines, photos, and payout. Wonder how much he took in cash?

Congratulations again. Maybe we'll meet up in LC someday.
