Re: L'auberge Jackpot
gigi,
We'll miss you on Monday but we need to try to get together one of these trips.
What is your take on the comps at LDL? We've heard several people complain about it being a fiasco lately. We overheard two players last trip unloading on the host at Isle. She had left Isle went to LDL and then came back a couple of months later. Our LDL comps have crashed but we haven't played there much over the past year. But, we were thinking of going there last week in July or first week of August before the new school year starts.
Good luck this weekend. Hit another RF.

mightwin,
The majority of times it is people standing around the tables or walking from one table to the next. I've reached the point of sometimes turning to the offender (when its an major bump) and saying "your excused". Only a small percentage ever apologize. The level of courtesy has definitely declined over the years.

About 2 years ago playing $1 triple level and a few five level super times pay they started putting me in a suite on the second floor - now that is a wonderful room - about 40 by 20 feet with a bath that fills with water from the ceiling.
I am a Realtor heer in Houston and when the market crashed I basically stopped going to the Casino last year - I had won and lost but with those $$ hard to make I just didn't go for 10 months - didn't like playing for smaller amounts.
So when I went back this June after not being there since last August I was put in a regular room - even though I took many dollars to play the tripple level $$ I got the same room as my son who probably takes $300 per trip. They comped me about $150 on food and I paid the rest since I had family with me.
When I returned and played last week I still was put in a regular toom - we were comped about $100 in food. They charged me $10 for something - yesterday they sent me a note they were taking care of that charge. We will see what happens this weekend - but it looks like I am going to have to play awhile to get back the "high roller" suite. I agree the comps are tighter than before. I just like that hotel and casino so much better than The Isle and don't get to go very often so I just bite the bullet.

GIGI: Congrats on a great win! I go to LDL 3 to 4 times a year..have only won a jackpot once! (When I had to file a Lousiana return) for my winnings. I live in Texas also. LOVE LDL, but the machines are VERY tight. I guess the thing to do is play late. Leave for Vegas tomorrow for a VP tourn. FUN!

I second that wish! only play two machines at the same time and double the fun!
