Payback Deuces

Last week after getting down to my last few $ I switched to 5 hands @ 1 credit and of course I was dealt deuces. $300 vs $1,500.   

This week after having our hats handed to us the last two days at L'Auberge du lac, we went back over to Isle with our granddaughter. I was teaching two of her friends how to play Deuces Wild on multi-hand 5¢. Having already gone through half of my allotted $200, I switched a machine on the other side of them and was dealt deuces on 15 hand DBDW on the third hand. Caught 2 Ace kickers and made up the two day loss. I smiled the rest of the night. Needless to say after seeing my hit, we now have two new VP players.

....I probably won't see another dealt deuces for at least a year.

Meanwhile, Sweet C caught Aces 2x and 3's with a kicker to make up her losses but couldn't hit the $1700 progressive.

Had we each not hit on our last $200 it would have been a "long, cold month in Texas" without being able to go to the casino!
