I guess we come from different places Kathy sunday was not a great day. yes I truly do think that if you think sunday was a great day you should be ashamed of yourself. try thinking of others and do not be so selfish. I really do not think the creator gives a rats behind whether the bears won or not. Maybe people just have different opinions of how the event should be remembered. If you have an opinion then thats good for you. Doesnt mean youre right.

Edog, you don't get it. Your negativity certainly makes you an unhappy person. We remember the fallen and celebrate them. We celebrate life and move on and learn from past. This glorious nation is safer than 10 years ago, thanks to the sacrifices of the over 3000. Was 9/11-2001 a happy day? No of course not. But Americans are not negative people and we will not let those that are jealous of our freedoms win. You should celebrate that and be strong. If not, they won, at least on your part.

I am all for celebrating the sacrifices of the people who died that day. I would hazard a guess that the family members of those 3000 brave people they would say sunday was not a great day. by saying sunday was a great day is doing a great injustice to those who perished that fateful day. there is no right or wrong on this subject it is just my humble opinion.

Posting that it was a great day had nothing to do with the events that took place 10 yrs ago.

Life is for living. We honor the dead and cherish their memories, but a big part of honoring them is to move on and continue to live. None of those who died on 9-11 would want everyone sitting around on the 10th anniversary thinking negative and dark thoughts. We will continue to remember what happened and we'll remember those who died, as well as remembering the heroes of that day --- FDNY. Live, rejoice in life and rejoice in memories, and remain determined that this will never again occur on American soil.

First, I think I would have to define what a great day is before I can call any day a great day. Then, I would be forced to take into account what others define as a great day. Why, because I choose to see a “great day” as something beyond the individual. Something that belongs to all.For some folks, just waking up the next morning would be a great day. For others, the end of WW2 was a great day.On balance, I think it is good that individuals have their own definition of what a great day means, within the context of their own life, while at the same time remembering that a truly great day may belong to all of humanity.

Waking up and being blessed with another day of life is a great day. I applaud Rascals sentiments also. God bless the men and women of our Armed Forces too!

What more could I ask for....Football and Hundred Play...
I consider it great day any day I wake up, look down and do not see a toe tag.
