Learn between hunches/premonitions and desired outcomes -thing you wish would happen.

Of course, that is the problem. The other problem is no one remembers/mentions the times their premonitions failed. They simply log it in the "desired outcomes" bin and move on. Makes it almost impossible to determine whether one really does have any true ability.
shadowman,
You may be right. I'm not sure it has anything to do with an ability or skill.

The "key" for me is learning which is a premonition and which is a "desired income - I mean outcome". From personal experience the more I work on reflecting and distinguishing between the two the more I become attuned to the difference. One comes on instantaneous and is usually very strong in the conscious arena. The other is usually more emotional based and feels like a wish or "it would be nice to hit a RF".   But, I also believe we have incredible brain capacity that we don't use or even know exists.

My father had an almost photographic memory andI to this day I can't understand how someone could have that ability.

Great hits Larry.  Congratulations!  I have had this feeling many times - the best is when a machine starts rolling and you can just feel that the machine is going to hit again and again.
I have also felt  it when the machine dies - I know all about rng  and all that - about how it doesn't matter what machine you are playing - that every hand on every machine is a new pull - but I can't tell you how many times I have had a lot of money in a machine and I just knew  inside it would never hit - and I was right - what I have to learn is to get up - listen to that little voice.
Then again - you can just be sitting there and that one hand comes out of the blue.
I always tell new players that a winning trip comes down to four or five hands - those wins make the difference between a big win and a big loss.
