Since I had so many comp dollar coupons I figured I'll do something that I usually never do with their money.

There was a similar reference in an earlier post about playing with "their money".

Once you've earned it, either as comp dollars through your play, or actual winnings at the machine, it's no longer "their money" - it's yours.

While it's a lot more fun to play without having to go into your pocket, you are, nevertheless, playing with your own money.

Comp dollars at Harrah's or "slot dollars" as they call them can not be cashed in for money.  They can only be played in a machine.  So technically it's their money until I win something with it and then it becomes mine.

roveer, please accept my belated congratulations, and how great was all that!  Now if we could only get shadowman on here to do the same without scolding you for playing those games that will make you a loser in 500 thousand years, them fabulous winners would mean chicken dinners! Please go back and do it again. Love the pictures.

Roveer : I was at Harrah`s on Thursday. I notice 3 table top machines in the far corner of the casino by the Brigatine enterence and the poker bar ( smoking section ) to the right of the machines is a small slot attendance room. These were multi denom. machines. Are these part of your group of good machines?

This is a relatively new find for me as well.  Back in that corner there is a row of spin STP machines (which I don't really like) as well as 2 DSTP machines.  In that same row there are probably 8-10 multi-game machines which include STP.  Only problem I see with them is that at 1 dollar denom they will only play 3 hand.  I have taken to the DSTP at quarter denom for the thrill of 2 possible multipliers.  At 70 coins it's pretty steep on dollars.

I would not consider those in my group.  My main group is at the front of the smoking area 5 machines (mostly stick to the 2 outside machines and 4th machine.  2nd machine never seems to produce multipliers.  The middle machine is DSTP.  I also play in the Diamond cove, 4 machines in the back, mostly the 2 on the backside of the group.  I've also played a multi-game STP over by the craps tables outside the xibition bar.  3 hands on dollars.  I got my dealt aces in the diamond cove.

I can see your point.   I regularly receive slot dollars at Seneca Niagara - which have to be redeemed by playing them through a machine. But I get to choose the machine, the game, and the denomination.  Since I was intending to play anyway, the slot dollars simply replace dollars I don't have to take from my wallet - hence my view that it was already my money.
