Re: 5 big hits in 2 weeks
Milmont - I replied to a different post of yours asking how many hands you played and what games but now i just found this thread which pretty much answers that. Congrats on your streak! You definitely had some good luck! Be sure to check out vpfree2.com as Larry already mentioned....it's an awesome resource for finding what casinos have what games and even exactly where the games are located. I could not imagine playing video poker without it.

Thanks casino. I was at Barona in Lakeside CA tonite and still rolling. I lost $400 on various VP games, then won it back plus an extra $100 playing Deuces Wild. While up $100 I moved to a new set of machines and played Loose Deuces. I was getting 3 deuces an inordinate amount of times. I think i was dealt 3 deuces about 4 times. the machine was just hot. 3 deuces is of course a miss... but I stuck around and nailed 4 deuces for the 2.5k payout. It even had an ace kicker (which didn't factor into anything)... but was still extra nice. I really really should have stood up and elft at the point but I moved to new machines and gave back about $600 just playing games I don't usually play using house money. I am going to buy a jack tomorrow so I can upload the photos I have been collecting during this run.. I have now had 14k in handpays over the last 5 weeks plus a 1k machine pay.

Once you'vre won it, it's not "house money" - it's your money. You weren't playing with "their money"!

Milmont - Congrats on the amazing streak! That's a great bankroll to have, if i were you I would set up a separate checking account just to manage that money.....but that's just me.
Keep it going!

Hi...
Just wanted to chime in on this subject as a long time VP player and a past resident of a gambling community for 10+yrs.. In Laughlin NV in Feb 2010, I won 27k in 3 hours around 8pm... and another nite, did same at 1am.. then next night, lost 12k.. next morning, a single play dealt me a royal.. timing is just that .. being at right machine at right time.. it truly is random..
And as a live poker player as yourself, you know when the bad cards come it can be very depressing.. best of luck to you, but tread lightly.
I leave for Vegas and Laughlin on 30th for 9 days.. wish me well.. LOLOL

ahhh yes.. I have felt the wrath of the odds of late. It won't erase am amazing streak that started off my VP experience over the first 6 or 7 sessions.. but it has me grounded in reality, I was off from work with an injury and was enjoying some late weekday nites at the casino during the streak. Now that I am back at work, my sessions are a bit more rushed in that I will take a machine even if it doesn't feel right. I think my 15k in handpays was probably a total of 12 hrs of play The two royals occured within 10 minutes of sitting down. The second one I even told the cashiers cage... "I'm going to go get a royal and that will complete my night"... 10 minutes later I was back at the cage high fiving the cashier and tipping her for the good vibes and luck. I asked both casinos to take my photo with the royals, so I now have those for memories too, I think if there is anything I've learned from all this it's.... it's,,,,, it's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, to not play blackjack with my winnings from VP !!! VP can be annoying when you go cold... but blackjack is just outright eeeeevil when you hit a bad streak. oh and Good Luck Melulu !
