Hi all.    I am the OP  I just checked on this post to see if anyone replied.   Strange responses....... to all you negative folks out there,  Yes I probably understand the mathematics of VP as well as anyone, and yes I understand that any money management system can in no way alter the odds.  I was merely stating that   his method of play has been sucessful for me over ten 4 day sessions in Las Vegas, and has added to my enjoyment of the activity.  That is why I titled it "it has served me well" rather than "I have stumbled onto something that is perfect" I am aware that my next ten trips may well not be as good, but I have been able to play much longer on the same bankroll, and I hope that will continue.

Bottom line is that its your money do what you want. There are 2 sides to this and you have to be able to live with the results.
EX= Yesturday me and my better half were playing various vp games all day. Slowly losing through out the day. I get this game king on some pretty good runs, only for it to crash and burn as usual.  Tired, frustarted, and possibly bored after being there 5+ hours, I decided to give keno a run since my machine wasnt responding positively. Down to the last 5$ that I was willing to lose................WHAM I caught 5 out of 5 while betting 4 credits= 3220 credits. So happy I got all my vp money lost back and then some. I have lost track of the keno winnings this year except for the 4 hand pays that  I have. So many times I have hit at keno and recouped lost vp money. Ofcourse this is luck. Alot of people associated with vp would never consider playing video keno because of the long shot odds of hitting. Because the math tells you not to. Everyone has to do what is good for them. I believe the only betting system that works is the one where people  refuse to visit a casino and never step foot in one.

Oh dear, but you already know before posting that your boys are going to come on and try to patch it up for you with their silly comments dont you.  He doesn't know that for sure, but as long as there are those on here who have witnessed the amount of time and effort he has expended on here providing informationand analysis to questioners, he will continue to have some appreciative defenders.   What have you positively contributed to the forum lately, or ............ever?

No, you can't do it EVERYWHERE.  Hence the long term winners don't play everywhere.  And, they don't have to ask proper hold questions, either.

some players myself included will not play games that are negitive expected value including comps as some bonus point days. we just try to help the various players on this forum if they want to improve s/m goes against his own self interest by doing this as it lowers casino hold forcing casinos to downgrade paytables

Having just returned from a recent Las Vegas  trip. I have had time to crunch the numbers from my last 10 visits, and have done reasonably well with this VP strategy.First this is not a way to play the games. Doing research as to how to read pay tables, how to find the good paying machines, and the proper strategy for each game is well documented (Bob Dancer, Avery Cozad, Wizard of odds, etc) and practicing these on free software is essential. My strategy is a form of money management that seems to work well for me...Hope there are a few tips here that may help someone.Hey Nudgra.  Congratulations on your last 10 trips!  It sounds like you might have done something else before those 10.  During what period of time were those 10 trips?  Do you visit every month or even more frequently or was this over a period of years?  You said you just got back.  Was this last one just last week?  What off-strip casinos are your favorites? It was interesting seeing which experts you listed, but I'm not familiar with Avery Cozad.  I don't think I've ever heard anything about him.  Who is he?  Does he differ at all with the other couple that you listed?I hope you keep up your winning ways.
I go to Vegas 2 or 3 times per year.  Last trip was Labor day weekend.  The author was misspelled it is Avery Cardoza.  He only differs in that his books are mainly reference works that will give you proper strategies for every paytable , not just for specific games.  My favorite off strip casinos are ....Main Street Station , one of the few places where you can still find 10/7 double bonus, and full pay deuces wild. I also visit Gold Coast, Pamls, and now M resort.

Whie Main St Station still does have 10/7 double bonus, they haven't had full pay deuces there for some considerable time.
I didnt post this for shadow to answer it. I posted it as an example of an unconventional means to how we approach managing a bankroll. Although not mathematically sound perhaps, it works for me
