Re: Multimeter Progressive - Team Play
No seriously, thanks for asking about stuff in my declared field of expertise. I have two parties, three dates and a "thing" this weekend. I'll reply to your questions on Monday when my brain is less focused on things in skirts. No problem, no hurry. When focusing on things in skirts, optimal strategy includes never saying "optimal" nor "strategy," (excepting, of course, to those smart ladies on this forum!). Probably quoting Tversky and Kahneman is also a no-no.I'll be interested in your responses when you have the time to recall.
You should have said if you are going to quote Tversky and Kahneman at least don't use any shortcuts!!! OK how many people got that joke?

I do not get it, probably because "my istic," what I call my problem solving technique, is different than "your-istic." And because there is a bound to my rationality, I may never figure it out. Ironically, what I am asking you for in this thread is possibly a your-istic to another problem that is too complex for optimal strategy to be fully employed.
Frank, do you resent Bob Dancer for hurting AP while helping himself? Bet this woke you up!!!!!! Yes two different worlds with little overlap. You remember correctly. If it's OK I'd like to pass on further Bob questions. He is more than happy to answer these himself if you email him. What I can do if you are worried about the veracity of his replies is chime in after he comments. Shoot them to me and I'll give you my take on what he says. I really feel the first word on any person should be their own. What I meant was he seems determined to help every player know every single conceivable way to extract the absolute maximum remuneration from the casinos.Doesn't he realize the casinos have been his friend? If every player is a Bob Dancer does he actually think the casinos can offer the good games? I admire his skill, but he would not be welcome in my casino.

My date last night ended oddly and left me in a kind of funk.Oh I'm working on the answer to your progressive question. I think you'll be happy with the info.

That I would attack? That has varied over the years, but has never fallen below $40 an hour and at least a 2% edge. That I would play to maintain my lifestyle of dating and fun parties, quite a bit less. I get MASSIVE value at the Palms for trivial break-even action and can't jump over my food, concert, and shows they provide me with. It is the exception. I do not play at the Palms to win, I play there to live a fun life.

Not just that game type of course. It ain't what it used to be, but the fat lady hasn't sung yet. I think she's warming up in the wings right now.

Now THAT is the most important part of this discussion!

Now THAT is the most important part of this discussion!
Yes indeed in my career it has been the exception. If I had had to pay for all the free stuff I get from the Palms, I'd be a lot lighter in the wallet. I guess you could spin that to mean I still play there to make money, if saving money counts as making it.The point is I really like to food and fun activities there and I'm willing to break-even on machine result to get them.
