Time Share Luck 11/11/11

1/1/11 at Lake Charles Isle proved lucky for me with a 5 hand dealt RF so we looked forward to 11/11/11. Stopping at our "time share" (LC-IOC) on our way back from a UH football game in New Orleans we both lucked out.   My dealt deuces occurred earlier in the night and Sweet C's AWAK hit at 11:05.

Nice hits, as usual.Do they not acknowledge a handpay when you get one on the 50 play machine? That would be a huge perk right there.

This hand was a G statement hand-pay = $1250. This was my first hand dropping from 30 hands to 25 (kinda wish it had been 23) so I would have missed the tax statement. Uncle Sam will love us this year.

My luck got better as I caught a couple of RF after the deuces and then I had a premonition to try TDB on a machine Sweet C had been playing.   Over 30 minutes of play I caught multiple hands with Kickers and pulled 5 tickets that doubled the hand pay without a tax statement. It ended up being a great night.

Probably a once in a lifetime VP run! But, it has been a h.... of a lot of fun! We'll pay the piper in April.

I believe the unbeatable is only beatable over the short-term and that is what this year has been. However, for most of us 100% return machines are not an option. So, we play for entertainment value and acknowledge our hits are just short-term pleasures and we are willing to accept the long-term losses. Each of us has to decide how much we are willing to pay for entertainment whether its VP, or attending sporting events or the arts, etc.
