Re: No state inspection of MN's Indian casino slots
Mr. T have you reported any of these dishonest acts to the state? Any and all of your violations you have perported to happen if reported would shut down these NATIVE AMERICAN casinos at once. Please name these dishonest casinos if you dare. Or otherwise Quit your inflamatory statements. Also if the first time you were wronged by a tribal casino. Why in the world would you ever go back?

Wow Mr T, I have to agree with Edog - you are entitled to your opinion of Native Casinos, but if what you say is true, you really need to report these infractions. I'm sure an internet search would arm you with all of the necessary steps involved in reporting rule/law violations regarding Native American casinos and casinos in general.

Here is a newspaper story... I also have a letter of apology from another WI Indian casino for blackjack decks being short. But they warned me that if I asked to see blackjack decks exposed again, I could be banned for life. You are naive to think that one can simply report these things....
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A Milwaukee casino employee and eight of his friends were indicted yesterday on federal charges that they stole 168 thousand dollars while cheating on a game. A grand jury accused ***** of creating a scheme to cheat the Pick-Eight Bingo game at the Potawatomi Casino, so his friends would win jackpots.
Investigators said the friends then shared the money.... It reportedly happened seven times in 2005 and ’06. The jackpots ranged from 15 thousand to 50 thousand dollars.

I know all about that scandal Mr. T. What does that have to do with the casino. That was done by a rogue employee and his buddies had nothing to do with the casino. That would be akin to you getting short changed at the grocery store then saying all grocery stores are dishonest. Yes it is very easy to report these things call the state gaming commission or the national indian gaming association. also I think you are assuming these people were tribal members article does not mention that.

The latest is the state legislature held hearings and the regulatory agencies agreed they would try to do their job on state inspections of rez casinos. As to short payouts on VP, Minnesota's indefinite compact with the tribes stipulates no VP machine can pay back more than 98.5%. A couple casinos have some full-pay One-Eyed Jacks machines, that's it.

Many states interpret the maximum payback percentage to mean actual payback from the machine rather than optimal payback. One eyed jacks is extremely difficult to play optimally so I wouldn't be surprised to see that the actual payback falls well below the state max of 98.5%. I play in a state with a max of 95% but the machines are a combo of keno and VP with the best VP game at 98.9%. Again, I would not be surprised that the payback comes in below 95% since I see mostly keno players on these machines.

Sorry, should have clarified that the OEJ machines were grandfathered in; it's the only game in the state that can legally return more than 98.5%. I certainly haven't seen any other games with a greater theoretical EV.
