Roveer's 2-12-2012 Harrah's Visit

Post by roveer »

Managed to bang up Harrah's again this past weekend.  Sorry the pics are fuzzy.  Guess I have to clean my cell phone once in a while.  You'll see my obsession with Ultimate X is still around.  I've been taking a set amount once I'm up and playing half dollars.  As soon as something hits, I get out of dodge.  I think that's a good stratedgy for that game considering it's volitility.  If I can't get a hit, I go down to half my amount then admit defeat.

This did not qualify as a winning trip.  I did not employ my good measures to ensure that I took home profit.  A lapse in judgement to be sure, but it still produced some jackpots.  I'll re-group and get back to my winning ways.  The important thing to convey is that I'm keeping lifetime information and since I've started doing this I'm way in the black.

I'm considering writing an artical about gambling with the wrong attitude.  That aptly describes this trip.  I had several opportunities to walk away ahead and ignored them all.  Shame on me.  We live and learn.

Was your winning "steak" a filet mignon? Just kiddin', Jim.
Nice hits, Roveer..

I too enjoyed the pictures hit on all those negative machines. But Im sorry, its absolutely PATHETIC that you ended up losing and not locking away especially that $6000 win. I think this is a dangerous thread that our philosopher Frank should chime in on. I see a terrible gambling problem here and Ill bet this is hardly the first time this player couldnt hold onto his wins. Whats the point of posting all those pictures when the player doesnt have the wherewithall to leave with a profit? Again, I say, pathetic. Naturally, I say all this from my perch attained recently when I had the $20000 hit, took a check, and mailed back home to my wife. It really wasnt that hard to do. The main thing is, can this be one of those teachable moments?
